I love this block. I think you could do so many pretty configurations with it for a quilt. It's the scrappy striped block from this tutorial from The Joy Cottage. I used it for the 3x6 sampler quilt mini bee that I joined earlier this year. I mailed them out this week so they should all be with their owners by now. Here they are!
gray, pink, red, aqua/turquoise for oneygirl
green, pink, aqua/turquoise for goldwillow
gray orange, raspberry for malama
black, white and a splash of bright color for heather
gray, white, lime green for mommaof4yoopers. (This one is different because I messed up the sizing on the striped block. It turned out too small so an all gray border sort of swallowed it up. I compensated by sizing the gray down and adding a green border.)
black, white, aqua/turquoise for alasunastudio
Only problem is I forgot to make one for me. BUT, I did recieve a block from Heather.
Look at that fabric! She spoiled me with a block made entirely out of Denyse Schmidt's Picnic and Fairgrounds line. Love it. Thanks Heather!
